Metta World Peace is a former American basketball player. He made significant strides in the NBA, playing for notable teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, and New York Knicks. His talent and dedication were recognized in 2004 when he was named an NBA All-Star and earned All-NBA honors. Beyond his on-court achievements, World Peace legally changed his name in September 2011. He has appeared in the documentary Manchild: The Schea Cotton Story, the films All Wifed Out and Celebrity Exorcism, and has released rap records, including his most popular song, Champions (as Ron Artest).
