Jimmy Chin is an American mountain climber and filmmaker. As a professional mountain athlete and climber and skier on The North Face Athlete team for over 20 years, Chin has made significant strides in the sport through his athletic endeavors, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the mountains. Chin made the first successful American ski descent from the summit of Mount Everest in 2006 and has also contributed to the film industry through his appearances in the documentaries Meru and Fine Lines.
