Boris Karloff was an English actor (1887-1969). He appeared in silent films and serials upon arriving in Hollywood. His breakout role was as Frankenstein's monster in the 1931 film Frankenstein, and he also appeared in the films Lured, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Voodoo Island. He appeared in the TV series Colonel March of Scotland Yard.
