Yul Brynner was a Russian-born American actor (1920-1985). He played the King of Siam in The King and I, winning the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1956 for the film adaptation and the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical in 1952 for the stage production. His film credits include The Ten Commandments, Death Rage, Futureworld, and The Magnificent Seven. He also directed the television series Studio One.
