American actor, singer, songwriter, and film producer
George Jessel was an American actor, singer, songwriter, and film producer. He originated the lead role in the stage production of The Jazz Singer. Jessel appeared in the films Stage Door Canteen and Four Jills in a Jeep. Jessel also appeared in the film Diary of a Young Comic. Jessel composed several songs, including My Mother's Eyes, Stop Kicking My Heart Around, and The Toastmaster.
