Cherie Gil was a Filipino actress. She is known for delivering the iconic line, "You're nothing but a second-rate, trying hard copycat!" Gil appeared in films such as A Moment in Time, Donsol alongside Jaclyn José, Gold, Silver, Death, Just a Stranger, and Sensitive and in Love. She was a Hall of Famer at the Metro Manila Film Festival in the Best Supporting Actress category.
