British actress

Kathy Burke is a British actress. She created and performed the memorable characters Waynetta Slob, Lulu, and Perry in Harry Enfield and Chums and created the recurring role of Magda in Absolutely Fabulous. Burke also appeared in the films Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Elizabeth, Pan with Hugh Jackman, and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy with Tom Hardy. She starred in the Apple Original Film Blitz directed by Steve McQueen and appeared in the series Tom Jones. Beyond acting, Burke directed the series Holding and hosted the podcast Where There’s A Will, There’s A Wake.
