Red Buttons was an American comedian and actor (1919-2006). He received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Sayonara and also appeared in films such as Hatari!, They Shoot Horses, Don't They?, and The Poseidon Adventure. Buttons also starred in Pete's Dragon, 18 Again!, and It Could Happen to You. He was a regular on Dean Martin's celebrity roasts. He also hosted The Red Buttons Show.
