German-Austrian stage and film actor
Curd Jürgens was a German-Austrian stage and film actor. He appeared in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me released in 1977. Jürgens also played rocket scientist Werner Von Braun in the biographical film I Aim at the Stars. He resumed his film career after World War II, achieving new prominence in international productions such as The Assassination Bureau, The Battle of Britain alongside Michael Caine, The Enemy Below, and The Inn of the Sixth Happiness. He died in 1982.
