Sasheer Zamata is an American actress, stand-up comedian, and writer. She helped found the University of Virginia's first long-form improv comedy troupe, Amuse Bouche, and studied and performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater in New York City. Zamata made her Saturday Night Live debut as a featured player, then became a full cast member. She has appeared in films such as I Feel Pretty with Michelle Williams and Sasheer Zamata: Pizza Mind, and in television series including Agatha All Along, Home Economics, and Woke. Zamata has also hosted the SiriusXM Comedy podcast Best Friends with Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata.
