American rock band
Journey is an American rock band formed in 1973. They’ve sold over 100 million records and enjoyed their most successful period after vocalist Steve Perry joined in 1977, releasing Infinity the following year. Their seventh album Escape topped charts in 1981, and featured the singles Who’s Crying Now and Don’t Stop Believin’. The latter song's popularity has endured ever since, and has been featured in TV shows such as Glee and The Sopranos, where it appeared in the series' finale episode.
Journey’s most popular releases also include the albums Trial by Fire and Raised on Radio, and the songs Separate Ways (Worlds Apart), and Faithfully. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. They appear in live concert films including Journey: Live In Houston 1981: The Escape Tour, Journey: 2001, and Journey: Live In Manila.
