Anita Ward is an American singer. She is best known for her 1979 disco single Ring My Bell, which was a number one pop hit in the U.S. and the U.K. Ward has released albums titled Songs of Love and Sweet Surrender. Her other popular songs include Don't Drop My Love and I Won't Stop Loving You. Ward also sang with the Rust College A Cappella Choir, including recording with Leontyne Price. She appears in the series Disco: Soundtrack of a Revolution.
