Liam Payne was an English singer and songwriter best known as a member of the globally successful band One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson. As a solo artist, Payne released his First Time EP in 2018, his debut album LP1 in 2019, and a collaborative EP titled Midnight Hour with Alesso in 2020. He also collaborated with J Balvin, Rita Ora, Zedd, and Quavo, and released the song Teardrops in 2024, before he passed away later that year. Payne appeared in the documentaries One Direction: This Is Us, One Direction: Going Our Way, One Direction: The Only Way Is Up, and One Direction: Where We Are – The Concert Film.
