In the 1970s, old gangster moll Lou Rolfe is confronted with her involvement in the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre orchestrated by her former husband and Capone’s main hitman, Jack McGurn. During this period, Lou is interviewed about her role in Jack’s life and tells her story... In 1920s Chicago, Al Capone’s Italian outfit battles Bugs Moran’s Irish gang for control of the city. Jack is a rising pro boxer, but when Black Hand gangsters kill his stepfather, he goes on a vengeance spree. Capone takes notice and hires him. Lou wants to be famous and starts a job as a dancer in one of Capone’s speakeasies, where she meets Jack. Their romance doesn’t blossom, but booms. Jack grows more and more absent from his family, and Lou more and more influential in his life. She will do anything to have him rise to power in Capone’s outfit.
