Tito Puente was a Puerto Rican musician (1923-2000). He played with Noro Morales and Machito before starting his own band in the late 1940s. Puente released albums including Dance Mania, Vol. 1, Mambo Diablo, and Night Beat. He was known as King of the Mambo. Among his most popular songs are Déjame Sonar featuring Tony Vega and Oye Cómo Va. Puente appeared in films such as Radio Days and The Mambo Kings.
