Melissa Gilbert is an American actress. She played Laura Ingalls in Little House on the Prairie and appeared with Shannen Doherty in Little House: Bless All the Dear Children. Gilbert has also starred in films such as A Holiday for Love, Mistaken Identity, and Hometown Christmas. By the time she was 11, she had already amassed a long list of advertising spots. She produced the film Guest Artist.
