Ester Dean is an American singer and songwriter. After signing to Polow da Don's Interscope-affiliated Zone 4 Records label, she landed on the charts with Drop It Low alongside Chris Brown. Since, Dean has written and sometimes produced hit songs for artists such as Ciara, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and Kelly Clarkson. Some of her notable songwriting credits include Rihanna's Rude Boy, Katy Perry's Firework, Nicki Minaj's Super Bass. She has also done some acting, including appearances in the Pitch Perfect franchise.
