Jerry Reed was an American country singer, songwriter, and actor. He released albums including East Bound and Down, Georgia Sunshine, and The Essential Jerry Reed. His most popular songs include East Bound and Down (From Smokey and the Bandit), Amos Moses, and The Bandit. Reed appeared in the films Smokey and the Bandit, High-Ballin', and The Waterboy. He passed away in 2008.
