American singer, songwriter and musician

Chris Cornell was an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He was the lead singer of Soundgarden, known for the albums Badmotorfinger and Superunknown, and released the album Chris Cornell with Temple of the Dog. He also released the albums No One Sings Like You Anymore, Vol. 1, Songbook, and formed Audioslave with former Rage Against the Machine members in 2001. Soundgarden reunited and continued recording and performing in 2010. He is known for his popular songs including You Know My Name, and Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart. He appeared in the documentaries All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records, Pearl Jam Twenty, and Singles. Cornell passed away in 2017.
