American former professional basketball player

Shaquille O'Neal is an American former professional basketball player. He made significant strides in the sport, winning four NBA championships: three consecutively with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2000, 2001, and 2002, and another with the Miami Heat in 2006. He also played for the Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics.


Among his many accolades, O'Neal was named NBA Rookie of the Year in 1993 and NBA Most Valuable Player during the 1999-2000 season. He also played for the United States Olympic basketball team, which won gold at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
Following his basketball career, O'Neal became a sports analyst for the television show Inside the NBA. He has also appeared in films such as Blended, Grown Ups 2, and Uncle Drew, and has released singles including You Can't Stop The Reign and Chaos with Gawne.
