
Bob Weir
Bob Weir is an American musician and songwriter best known as a founding member of the Grateful Dead. As a solo artist, he released the albums Ace, Heaven Help the Fool, and Blue Mountain. Weir's most popular songs include Black-Throated Wind, Playing In the Band, and Bombs Away. After Jerry Garcia's death, he focused on his latter-day group RatDog and participated in the Grateful Dead's 50th-anniversary reunion shows. Weir appears in the documentary Gimme Shelter and the series Long Strange Trip and San Francisco Sounds.
