Del the Funky Homosapien is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has released albums including Both Sides of the Brain, I Wish My Brother George Was Here, and No Need for Alarm. Del has also formed and released music as a member of the hip-hop collectives Hieroglyphics and Deltron 3030, and the virtual band Gorillaz. He has collaborated with Aesop Rock and Wu-Tang Clan on the song Preservation, and among his most popular songs are Mistadobalina and If You Must. Del appears in the documentary Where We're From: Rise of L.A. Underground Hip Hop.
