Christoph Koncz is an Austrian-Hungarian classical violinist and conductor. He starred as Kaspar Weiss in the film The Red Violin alongside Samuel L. Jackson. Koncz has released several notable albums: J.S. Bach & Pärt: Works for Violin & Chamber Orchestra with Arabella Steinbacher and the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra; Mozart's Violin: The Complete Violin Concertos; and Swing!: Tsfasman x Ravel with the London Symphony Orchestra and Chiyan Wong. Among his recorded works are performances of Concerto for Two Violins, Strings, and Continuo in D Minor, BWV 1043: II. Largo, ma non tanto with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra and Arabella Steinbacher, and Suite for Piano & Orchestra Jazz Suite: II. Lyrical Waltz with the London Symphony Orchestra and Chiyan Wong.
