Iain Paterson is a British opera singer. He has performed at the Chicago Opera Theater, the Royal Opera, Covent Garden, and the Paris Opera, and he sang in the chorus of Opera North for four years. Paterson also sang in the Australian premiere of Shostakovich's 13th Symphony. Some of Paterson's best-known performances include Götterdämmerung, Act III: Erräth'st Du auch dieser Raben Geraun? performed with Fabio Luisi and Jay Hunter Morris; Das Rheingold, WWV 86A, Scene 4: Rheingold! Rheingold! performed with Hallé and Sir Mark Elder; and A Midsummer Night's Dream, Op. 64, Act 1: Introduction: The Wood performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Kate Royal. He appears in a 2012 film version of Götterdämmerung.
