Del Monaco released several notable albums, including Puccini: Il Trittico with Renata Tebaldi and Robert Merrill, Verdi: Il Trovatore with Renata Tebaldi and Giulietta Simionato, and Verdi: Otello. He also collaborated with Renata Tebaldi on the arias Manon Lescaut, Act II: Oh, sarò la più bella! and Tu, tu, amore tu, and with Dimitri Mitropoulos and Ettore Bastianini on Ernani: Act II. Additionally, he sang La forza del destino: Solenne in quest'ora with Ettore Bastianini. He appeared in the film First Love. Del Monaco died in 1982.
