American singer-songwriter

Teddy Pendergrass was an American singer-songwriter (1950-2010). He fronted Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes.


Pendergrass then embarked on a successful solo career, releasing several consecutive platinum studio albums between 1977 and 1981: his self-titled debut Teddy Pendergrass, Life Is A Song Worth Singing, Teddy, and TP.
His most popular songs include Love T.K.O., When Somebody Loves You Back, and Come Go with Me.
Pendergrass also appeared in the documentary Testimonies Of Faith: Humble Journeys and the film Soup for One.
