

Ginger Baker
English rock and jazz drummer
Ginger Baker was an English rock and jazz drummer, best known as the drummer of Cream and later Blind Faith alongside Eric Clapton. He formed and led the Ginger Baker Trio and Ginger Baker's Air Force, which recorded two albums in 1970. Baker collaborated with Fela Kuti, releasing songs such as Black Man's Cry and Why Black Man Dey Suffer. He also released the albums Going Back Home, Middle Passage, and No Material. Baker appeared in the documentaries Beware of Mr. Baker, Cream - Disraeli Gears, Cream: Farewell Concert, and Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars. He died in 2019.
