Andy Summers is a British guitarist. He was briefly a member of The Animals, studied classical guitar and composition in California for four years, and joined The Police in 1977. Summers released the albums I Advance Masked and Bewitched with Robert Fripp, as well as the solo album Earth and Sky. He appears in the documentaries Can't Stand Losing You: Surviving The Police, Under the Volcano, and The Police: Certifiable, all with Sting.
