

Sam Phillips
American singer
Sam Phillips is an American singer. She commenced her professional career in the mid-1980s as a Christian pop star, releasing her final Christian album under the name Leslie Phillips in 1987. She then changed her stage name to Sam Phillips and began releasing secular singer-songwriter albums, including Fan Dance. Sam Phillips went on to release A Boot and a Shoe and Cruel Inventions. She composed and performed soundtrack music for The Gilmore Girls. Her most popular songs include Reflecting Light, How to Dream, and If I Could Write. She appears in the 1995 film Die Hard: With a Vengeance alongside Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson.
