Alyson Reed is an American dancer and actress. She played Ms. Darbus in Disney's High School Musical franchise, reprising the role in subsequent films alongside Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. Reed also appeared in Ad Astra. She debuted on Broadway in 1978 in Dancin' and had a prolific television career spanning over 50 shows between 1990 and 2006. Reed teaches at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood and has recorded songs including It's a Man's World with Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Judy Kaye, and A Loud & Funny Song with the same two artists.
