Daphne Rubin-Vega is an American actress, dancer, and singer-songwriter. She originated the role of Mimi Marquez in the Broadway musical Rent, began writing her own songs in the late 1980s, and found work as a studio singer. Rubin-Vega formed the pop trio Pajama Party and released the hit single Yo No Sé. She has appeared with Robert De Niro in Ezra and Flawless and in Wild Things, In The Heights, and Reverse the Curse. She produced the series The Horror of Dolores Roach, and has popular songs including the single Change.
