Kyle MacLachlan is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Agent Dale Cooper on David Lynch's Twin Peaks, its film prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, and the series follow-up Twin Peaks: The Return. He is also known for his television roles as Orson Hodge on Desperate Housewives and Trey MacDougal on Sex and the City. MacLachlan has also appeared in films such as Blue Velvet, Dune, Showgirls, and The Flintstones, and the series Fallout, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and How I Met Your Mother.
