Barbara Fairchild
American country and gospel singer
Barbara Fairchild is an American country and gospel singer. She released albums on Columbia Records during the '70s and secured a songwriting contract with MCA right out of high school. Fairchild released the albums Wings of a Dove and Barbara Fairchild: Greatest Hits. Her most popular songs include Teddy Bear Song, I'll Meet You In the Morning, and Wings of a Dove. In 1989, she joined the gospel group Heirloom. She later released Love Never Fails with Connie Smith and Sharon White.
