Stephen Root is an American actor. His theatre credits include Broadway productions of So Long on Lonely Street and the revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons, as well as a US tour with the National Shakespeare Company. Root has appeared in films such as Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds, No Country for Old Men, and the Apple TV+ film The Tragedy of Macbeth. He has also appeared in the TV series Barry and NewsRadio.
