
William H. Macy
William H. Macy is an American actor and director. His television credits include the miniseries The Awakening Land and the series Shameless and The Dropout. He has appeared in films such as Down Periscope, Fargo, Jurassic Park III, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, and Ricky Stanicky.
In 2003, he received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for the television film Door to Door. He has also directed the films The Layover and Krystal, and produced the film Transamerica.
Macy co-founded the Atlantic Theater Company in New York City where he has acted, directed, and taught acting.
