American actress

Ellie Kemper is an American actress. She began working in comedy, performing with the People's Improv Theatre and the Upright Citizens Brigade. On TV, she played Erin Hannon in The Office and starred in the sitcom Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She has also appeared in films such as Bridesmaids, 21 Jump Street, They Came Together, Sex Tape, and Home Sweet Home Alone. As a writer, Kemper published her first book, My Squirrel Days, in 2018, and has contributed to McSweeney's literary journal and The Onion.
