
Paul McCartney
Paul McCartney is a British rock musician who came to prominence as a member of The Beatles and later with his own band Wings. Following the breakup of the Fab Four, he launched a successful solo career including albums such as McCartney, Ram with then-wife Linda McCartney, and Band On The Run with Wings. He received an Academy Award for Best Original Score for Let It Be and has earned numerous Grammy Awards. He was twice inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, first as a member of The Beatles in 1988 and then as a solo artist in 1999.
Some of his most popular songs include Maybe I'm Amazed and, with Wings, Live and Let Die, from the James Bond film of the same name. McCartney has appeared in the documentary Beatles '64, the film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and the series The Beatles: Get Back. He also hosted the podcast McCartney: A Life in Lyrics.
