He has starred in a diverse range of films including Big Trouble in Little China, Tombstone, Deepwater Horizon, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood where he collaborated with Leonardo DiCaprio. Russell also appeared in the Apple Original series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and produced the film Escape from L.A.
