American musician (1910–1978)
Louis Prima was an American musician (1910-1978). He began recording in the 1930s with his New Orleans Gang. He worked with singer Keely Smith from the 1940s to the early 1960s. Prima voiced King Louie in The Jungle Book, releasing I Wan'na Be Like You (The Monkey Song) with Bruce Reitherman and Phil Harris. His most popular songs also include Just a Gigolo / I Ain't Got Nobody and Pennies from Heaven. He also released albums such as Angelina and The Wildest!.
