Amy Ray is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. She is one half of the acclaimed folk-rock duo Indigo Girls and has released solo albums including Goodnight Tender, Holler, and If It All Goes South. Ray established her own independent record label, Daemon Records. Her popular songs include Bird in the Hand, Duane Allman, and When You're Gone, You're Gone. Ray appears in the documentaries Trudell and Indigo Girls: It's Only Life After All, as well as the film Boys On the Side.
