Javine was an English R&B singer. Her interest in music was developed through her mother's soul and reggae album collection, with Aretha Franklin cited as her favorite vocalist. Javine pursued a solo career, signing with Innocent Records and releasing her debut album, Surrender, in 2004. The album included the popular songs Touch My Fire, Real Things, and Surrender (Your Love). Javine also appeared in the film All Stars.
