Ian Richardson was a British actor from Edinburgh, Scotland. He played Francis Urquhart in the British TV series House of Cards and appeared in films such as Brazil with Robert De Niro, B.A.P.S, Dark City, and 102 Dalmatians. Richardson was a founding member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He passed away in 2007.
