

John Cleese
John Cleese is an English actor and comedian. He was a member of Monty Python, appearing in their television series Monty Python's Flying Circus. and the films Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Meaning of Life, and The Life of Brian. Cleese received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Cheers in 1987. He and Connie Booth cowrote the sitcom Fawlty Towers. He has appeared in the Harry Potter film series and the 2021 film Clifford the Big Red Dog, and the films A Fish Called Wanda and Fierce Creatures. Beyond acting, Cleese released the popular single Don't Mention the World Cup with The First Eleven.
