Tyne Daly is an American actress. She trained at Manhattan's American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

Daly's television credits include the TV movie Intimate Strangers, the series Cagney & Lacey for which she won two Primetime Emmy Awards - Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series - and the series Wings and Christy. She has also appeared in the films The Enforcer with Clint Eastwood, Hello, My Name Is Doris, and Tricks. She won an additional Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Christy in 1996.
