
William Shatner
William Shatner is a Canadian actor born in 1931. In 1966, he originated the role of Captain Kirk in Star Trek, a role that he would play for decades. Shatner later starred in T.J. Hooker from 1982 to 1985, then Boston Legal from 2004-2008, in which he won a Primetime Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actor. He also won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role in The Practice.
Shatner has also appeared in films such as Miss Congeniality, directed Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, and hosted and produced The UnXplained.
Beyond acting, Shatner has recorded music, including popular covers of songs such as Rocket Man and Space Oddity.
