- COMING OCT 30, 2026 HOW TO QUIT SMOKING

Dominic Fike has never shied away from his wild past, which often mirrored the drama of the TV series that launched the already-buzzing musician into a new stratosphere of fame. The Florida native followed his stint on the second season of Euphoria with 2023’s Sunburn, a sophomore album that sifted through memories of his unruly past for inspiration. Three years later, the singer-songwriter who recorded his early demos while on house arrest (one of which, “Babydoll,” hit the Billboard Top 10 in 2026 on a belated wave of popularity) is 30 years old, newly sober and a father. His third album might as well be titled HOW TO GROW UP. On HOW TO QUIT SMOKING, Fike tries to maintain balance as the world spins, referring to the touchstones of his past while keeping his focus on the present. True to form for the genre-blurring musician who can capably sing, rap, and shred on guitar, he blends rap-rock with West Coast beach-bum vibes (think Jack Johnson or Sublime) on the sunny “PANGEA,” while “WALLFLOWER” and “SQUEEZE” channel early-aughts garage rock. “The world is moving/We were never meant to stay,” he sings on “WHITE KEYS,” a previously unreleased alt-pop banger unearthed from the depths of his archives. Our Favorite Moment: The guest list is equally expansive, with cameos from the dream-pop musician Love Spells, Emma Ogier, and Danny Brown. But the most unexpected moment is a phone call from prison, during which Fike asks the rapper Tay-K, who is currently serving an 80-year sentence, for advice about how to embrace growing up. “Stay connected to your inner child,” Tay-K responds. “Everything is a learning experience. Everything is wonderful.”
