Eddy Mitchell is a French actor and singer. He had a few hits with Les Chaussettes Noires in the early 1960s before embarking on a solo career. Mitchell released the albums Eddy Mitchell, Les 100 plus belles chansons, and Big Band, as well as songs including Couleur menthe à l'eau, Toujours un coin qui me rappelle, and Sur la route de Memphis. Mitchell became equally well known as a TV host, radio personality, and actor, appearing in films such as 1981's Coup de Torchon and 1984's Frankenstein 90.
