Jimmy Jam is an American songwriter and record producer. He works with Terry Lewis as a songwriting and production team, which has composed hits for Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, and Usher. Jam's television credits include appearances in Half & Half, Janet Jackson: Opening Night Live, and The 47th Annual Grammy Awards. He also appeared in the documentary 808 and had his music featured in the film Poetic Justice.
