Gavin Friday is an Irish singer. He is the founder of the musical group Virgin Prunes. His solo career includes the albums Catholic and Ecce Homo.

Friday has also worked on several film soundtracks, writing songs for films like William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet and collaborating with Bono and Maurice Seezer on the popular Moulin Rouge! song Children of the Revolution.

Friday has also scored the films The Boxer and In America. He appeared in the film Breakfast On Pluto.
