Jared Leto is an American actor. He received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture for his role in Dallas Buyers Club, for which he immersed himself in the character's life by undergoing a significant transformation.

Leto has also appeared in My So-Called Life, Girl, Interrupted, Requiem for a Dream, American Psycho, Fight Club, Lord of War, Suicide Squad where he worked with Margot Robbie, and Blade Runner 2049 where he worked with Ryan Gosling. He both appeared in and produced the Apple TV+ series WeCrashed, and directed the documentary A Day in the Life of America.

With his rock band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, he achieved multiple chart-topping singles including From Yesterday, Kings and Queens, and This Is War.
